Bar facilities
Our bar facilities are situated on Level 3, 4 & 5 which serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including hot beverages. We also offer a selection of snacks and nibbles available at the bars.
The bars are opened 1.5 hours prior to the performance start time.
Confectionery, soft drinks and Ice Cream are available on Level 2 during a variety of concerts and events.
The Gin Lounge (Level 4)

The Gin Lounge is open for most evening performances. Situated on the fourth floor serving a choice of over 50 gins, premium spirits and champagnes, let the fun beGIN! We will also be offering delicious wines, more craft beers and a wonderful array of soft drinks.

Interval Drinks
Avoid the queues at the interval, and order your interval drinks before the concert starts. All three bars offer this interval drinks ordering service.
Please note, pre-order interval drinks are generally available for most performances but not all. e.g. if there is only a very short time between start & interval.
Level 3 Bar also offers a great place to watch live Rugby Home International Matches played at the Principality Stadium which is only a 5 minute walk away, with a huge Big Screen, delicious hot food & drinks available throughout. We are a popular, family friendly venue that offers a very warm welcome to rugby supporters from home and away. Enjoy pre-match refreshments before you go to the stadium or stay with us to watch the nail-biting action!
Functions
The refreshment facilities at St David's Hall are operated by Cardiff Catering, an in-house catering service to all the council venues, including Cardiff Castle, City Hall, County Hall, The Mansion House and St David's Hall. The company offers a very flexible and versatile service, which can cater for all size and types of function, including catering for a wide variety of dietary requirements.
From a simple buffet lunch for informal meetings to full silver service for gala dinners for heads of state to themed menus to suit your corporate needs; Cardiff Catering have comprehensive experience of all types of requirements.

Reducing Plastics
At the Hall, we are committed to reducing plastics. We therefore only use environmentally-friendly compostable corn starch for our disposable glassware.
