Covid-19 Safety Measures
WELCOME BACK TO ST DAVID’S HALL!
We are delighted to see you return, and here’s a huge thank you from us for your patience and ongoing, invaluable support.
Now we are open, we want you to feel confident and safe within the venue so that we can all once again enjoy the thrill of live entertainment that we have missed so much.
We have implemented several safety guidelines in accordance with the latest Welsh Government guidelines for the performing arts to ensure the National Concert Hall of Wales is COVID-19 secure. These including the following:
Upon your arrival in the ground-floor foyer, it is mandatory to check in with your details for Track & Trace purposes.
Please use the NHS COVID-19 app and scan our QR code, or manually complete the provided Test, Trace & Protect forms.
Every guest aged over 16 must bring photo ID.
Temperature checks will be carried out by staff on the ground-floor using contactless scanners.
Please do not bring large bags into the venue as our cloakroom is closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Social distancing guidelines remain in place, so please keep 2 metres apart from anyone outside your bubble throughout the venue at all times.
Where possible we have amended the usual layout of the venue to accommodate a one-way system to minimise social contact during your visit.
Face coverings must be worn at all times for anyone aged 11+.
If you are exempt from wearing a mask, please wear your Sunflower lanyard or display your Welsh Government exempt badge.
We have implemented enhanced cleaning schedules to keep everyone as safe as possible and use fogging machines to sanitise surfaces, seating and contact points.
Hand sanitising stations are prominently located throughout the building. Please use them when arriving and leaving the venue, and as you wish throughout your visit.
If you have accessibility needs, please ask a member of staff for assistance.
Please have your tickets readily available for our Front of House teams to check.
Where possible, please use e-tickets, which will minimise social contact or bring along ‘Print at Home’ tickets to avoid collection queues at the Box Office.
Unfortunately our bars are not currently open, but please check our website and social media for any updates.
St David’s Hall is now a cashless venue going forward.
In accordance with Welsh Government guidelines, we are currently adhering to the 2 metre distancing guidelines, which has greatly reduced the number of seats available for any performance in the auditorium.
Any changes to social distancing requirements and seating allocations will be announced via our website and social media.
Only one person / household bubble can be permitted in the passenger lift at any time.
Unfortunately, this will potentially create long queues, so please allow plenty of time if you have accessibility issues.
Toilets located on each foyer will be managed by a member of our Front of House team and will operate on a one in, one out basis to adhere to social distancing measures.
Please allow extra time when using our toilet facilities. Extensive cleaning will be undertaken before, during and after each performance.
If you require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff who will be happy to help you.
Our ventilation system is brand new and will remove any particles as the COVID setting sees the entire volume of air replaced with fresh air six times every hour inside the auditorium and in the foyers.
Many thanks for your patience and assistance with implementing these
COVID-19 safety measures. Now relax and enjoy the show!
