Wales is a land of music and celebration, and we in Cardiff are proud that each summer, St David's Hall, Wales' National Concert Hall, hosts our national classical music festival, the Welsh Proms Cymru.

For almost 35 years, the Proms and Artistic Director Dr. Owain Arwel Hughes CBE have drawn to Cardiff, and to Wales, the very finest symphony orchestras, soloists and presenters, in an array of truly magnificent events - and this, our 34th season, will be one of our most fantastic yet!

Whether you are a seasoned classical music lover, or a first time visitor to the Proms. we are certain that you will find much in our programme of events to enjoy. Whether it's our opening lunar landing 50th anniversary tribute "One Small Step...", the celebration and spectacle of the "Classical Extravaganza", "Brass & Voices" or "Movies & Musicals" prom, one of our Fringe events, or the incomparable "Last Night of the Welsh Proms" there's something for everyone at the Welsh Proms.

Whichever performances you choose to see, we know you will thoroughly enjoy your time and experience, all hosted in our fantastic St David's Hall at the 2019 Welsh Proms Cymru.
