Multi award-winning artist Katie Melua returns to the road in 2020 with a huge tour across the UK and Europe.
The new dates are preceded by the November 2019 release of the Live in Concert album featuring Gori Women’s Choir at London’s Central Hall, Westminster.
This concert begins at Katie’s birthplace of Georgia with her solo rendition of the folk song Tu Asa Turpa Ikavi. Plane Song – performed with her brother Zurab – speaks of their childhood in the city of Kutaisi, followed by Belfast, whichtraces their family’s emigration to the UK.
The show continues with songs from Katie’s seven studio albums including hits and hidden gems, fan favourites and tales from her past – plus a majestic rendition of Louis Armstrong’s A Wonderful World.
