Aled Jones & Russell Watson

Welsh singer Aled Jones and tenor Russell Watson visit the Hall following the release of their debut album In Harmony

Originally a choral singer, Aled Jones MBE rose to prominence in the mid-80s when his cover of Walking in the Air, the hit song from The Snowman, reached No. 5 in the UK charts in 1985 and going on to become one of the most loved Christmas songs. By the age of 16 Aled had released 16 albums, featured in numerous films and sang before the Royal Family. In and amongst maintaining his musical career Jones has acted both on stage and TV and has presented numerous TV shows and has released a staggering 33 records, the latest of which One Voice: Believe came out in 2017. 

Joining Aled for the tour is famed tenor Russell Watson. Russell is known for his mixture of operatic arias and unconventional pop covers. Watson's debut album, The Voice, was released in May 2001 topping the UK Classical Chart and eventually reached number five in the UK Albums Chart. Since then the singer has released 11 albums.
