The countdown to Christmas begins as CPO presents its annual A Night at the Movies.

This year’s selection includes a tribute to James Bond with a selection of classic themes which will leave you shaken and stirred! There are cinema classics from The Lord of the Rings to Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible and the monster smash hit Jurassic World.

We present family favourites, staples of Christmas tv such as Back to the Future and The Sound of Music, not forgetting Charade, featuring movie icons Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

We pay tribute to the great John Williams with music from Far and Away, an epic Western starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as Irish immigrants seeking their fortune in 1890s America. No Night at the Movies would be quite complete without Star Wars. The spine tingling Imperial March and the dreaded Darth Vader; a portrait of loveable Yoda, and the triumphant final scene.

The force will be with us all tonight!
