City Voices Cardiff Musical Director – Simon Curtis Piano – Rhiannon Pritchard City Voices Brass Ensemble
Since debuting at St David’s Hall in 2013 City Voices Cardiff have always delighted audiences with their concerts and this summer will be no different.
They present an epic choral concert for the winner inside all of us with songs that motivate and inspire, truly encapsulating all that is best about the Olympic Spirit. Stirring anthems and heroic visions, Olympic themes and patriotic blockbusters all brought together for one night only with the choral forces of City Voices Cardiff under their musical director Simon Curtis.
For 2020 their nominated charity is Sunday Circle Cardiff. Sunday Circle is a youth provision for young people with a wide variety of learning disabilities. It was started in 1981 by Maggie Harries as she realised there was very little opportunity for these young people to have the same social experiences and opportunities as others their age. They provide an opportunity for teenagers and young adults with learning disabilities to socialise with their peers in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. Sunday Circle is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Charity no. 1078250).
The raffle and retiring collection from this concert will be going towards our fundraising efforts for our nominated charity.
