Marking fifty years since the release of Led Zeppelin’s self-titled debut album – and its follow up, Led Zeppelin II – Australia’s celebrated live concert event Stairway to Heaven: Led Zeppelin Masters will return to the UK for ten dates in April 2019 as part of their European tour.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Vince Contarino and bolstered by the breath taking might of the thirty five piece The Black Dog Orchestra, Stairway to Heaven: Led Zeppelin Masters features no fewer than eighteen Led Zeppelin classics.


50th Anniversary Tour

Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer Ólafur Arnalds brings his stunning soundscapes to the Hall in support of his incredible new album re:member.

Ólafur melds strings and piano with loops and beats crossing over from ambient and electronic to pop. The virtuoso talent first came to prominence with hardcore and metal bands Fighting Shit and Celestine before forming the techno project Kiasmos with Janus Rasmussen from Icelandic electro-pop band Bloodgroup.

Vale of Glamorgan Festival is thrilled to present the exuberant and flamboyant Sandbox Percussion – the percussion quartet from New York described by the Washington Post as “revitalizing the world of contemporary music [with] jaw-dropping virtuosity”. This young quartet will be bringing with them an unconventional assortment of instruments, from plant pots to marimbas, wine glasses to rooks (an electronic instrument which uses infrared sensors to interpret hand movement).

The Annual Classical will feature some of the biggest dance tracks from the 90s which appeared on the early chart topping ‘The Annual’ compilations. Performed by the 50 strong London Concert Orchestra, re-live and re-experience the hits such as The Chemical Brothers – ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, Dario G – ‘Sunchyme’, Faithless – ‘Insomnia’, Fatboy Slim – ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and many more.

Followed by a screening of the Academy Award®️winning ‘Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers’ with the soundtrack performed by the orchestra live on stage, it’s set to be a grand day out for the whole family.

This thrilling audiovisual and cosmic exploration will be an interactive event and a chance for you to have your own ‘close encounter’.

PYST are glad to announce a new tour by Lleuwen - this time with a band that will visit some of Wales' leading theatres including St David's Hall.

Lleuwen Steffan was brought up to the sound of words and music, being the daughter of singer-composer Steve Eaves, and she sang on some of his recordings as a young girl.

Selling England By The Pound - The Entire Album + Spectral Mornings 40th Anniversary + New album highlights.

The irrepressible former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett announces his 2019 European Tour.  Setting off on 2nd November 2019, Steve and his band will perform 20 shows around the UK. 

For the first time ever, Steve will perform the seminal Genesis album Selling England By The Pound in its entirety.  Released in 1973, the album went to No. 3 in the UK charts and has been described as ‘the definitive Genesis album.’ It includes firm favourites such as Dancing with the Moonlit Knight, Firth of FifthCinema Show and, of course, I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe). Other favourite classic Genesis tracks will also feature in the show.
