A magical evening of the world’s most recognised songs.
The show features the English National Philharmonic Orchestra and principal singers from the Royal Opera House and English National Opera. The Orchestra will be conducted by Ben Crick and the Soloists will include John Cunningham (Baritone), Hannah Mason (Mezzo Soprano) and Lee Bradley (Tenor).
A show for all the family and will feature all the best bits from all the popular Operas, including many that everyone knows but probably don’t realise are Opera. Whether you are a lover of Grand Opera or a lover of grand songs performed to the highest possible level, everyone will enjoy an evening of magical music.
The show will contain favourites including the Toreador song from Carmen, Mozart’s Marriage Of Figaro, Time To Say Goodbye, Verdi’s Anvil Chorus, the Pearl Fishers duet, Ave Maria and, of course, Nessun Dorma.
An experience to remember for those who’ve already been to one of the great Opera Houses of the World, for anyone whose experience of Opera is limited to what they’ve heard on a television advert and for everyone in between.
Lesley Garrett is one of Britain’s best loved singers, well known for her Operatic, Musical Theatre and Television appearances. We all feel very lucky that Lesley is part of Magic Of The Opera.
This is a show that will equally delight lovers of Grand Opera or just lovers of grand songs -performed in a relaxed and entertaining way.
