Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra has enjoyed a season of concerts at St David's Hall ever since it was first built back in 1983. With popular conductor Michael Bell at the helm, they have performed in Paris' Eglise de la Madeline and played with soloists Sir Geraint Evans, Bryn Terfel, Charlotte Church, Bonnie Tyler and pianist Martin Jones.
This season of concerts opens with Tchaikovsky Night on Friday 14 October, an evening of music by the world's best loved composer.
Countdown to Christmas on Friday 2 December with CPO's annual concert of movie music magic in A Christmas Night at The Movies.
The season continues on Friday 24 February 2012 with Favourite Classics featuring, Rossins's The Thieving Magpie, DvoĆák's Symphony No 8 in G Major and Elgar's Enigma Variations.
The final concert in this season sees Cardiff's Orchestra celebrate with a 30th Birthday Concert featuring pianist Richard McMahon on Saturday 23 June 2012. Conductor Michael Bell and Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra invite you to join the party celebrating 30 years of music making.
