The vibrant orchestral colours of Debussy’s Images conjure the heat, dancing crowds, and intoxicating fragrance of Spain, including the atmospheric sun-drenched Iberia. Shostakovich’s troubled and searingly urgent First Violin Concerto is one of his greatest works..

Voice in A Million -DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED
500 members of The Voice in a Million Choir, in an evening of awe inspiring entertainment
The 2012 show is a new production in the choir's repertoire, bringing ‘once in a lifetime' opportunities to thousands of talented local schoolchildren to take part and perform, supporting some of Britain's most talented young singers, as seen on National TV.
Having grown from 32 members in 2009, there are now over 22,000 members of the choir nationwide. Not only have they sold out arenas throughout the UK, including the O2 Arena and Wembley Arena, but have also released a studio album; and have appeared on stage with rock legends, Foreigner and Rick Wakeman and Jon Anderson of YES.
Supporters of the choir include Sir Elton John and Piers Morgan; ‘I fully support the Voice in a Million project', Sir Elton John. ....'every child needs a loving family, its projects like this that can really make a difference', Piers Morgan
All of the choir productions are centred around an adoption theme to raise awareness of the need to find homes and families for children in the ‘care system'; and the lavish and spectacular productions give thousands of children the opportunity to help make a difference not only to the lives of those thousands of less-fortunate children, but also to themselves.
The repertoire for 2012 includes rock and pop classics from the Beatles, U2, The Bee Gees, Joe Cocker, Carrie Underwood, Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey, Michael Buble, The Black Eyed Peas, Stevie Wonder Christina Perry and many more.
