St David's Day Gala

Conductor - Gareth Jones
Bass-Baritone - Bryn Terfel

St David's Day 2015 promises to be a remarkable occasion as the Orchestra and Chorus are joined in St David's Hall by acclaimed Welsh baritone Bryn Terfel. Together we will celebrate the music of Wales through song, as Bryn performs some of the music closest to his heart. He will be joined by some of the stars of the future, bringing a joyful "hwyl" to our festivities.
This event is always hugely popular so please book early to secure the best seats!

"Most of the people in the audience here, including this critic...wished to wallow in their Welshness, confirm their Celtic credentials and kiss away a couple of hours of hwyl, if not hiraeth." Peter Collins, Western Mail

Please note, TV cameras will be present at this concert.
